Since his time as a young craftsman at the Illinois Institute of Art, Joshua Ramirez has proven that getting to the top of your industry is a lesson in commitment, especially in the world of Chicago dining. As he mastered the art of Italian cuisine, he quickly joined the ranks in management as Executive Sous Chef of Quartino, and Chef de Cuisine at Bar Siena. As Executive Chef, he opened Libertyville’s iconic Main Street Social, and Indiana’s mediterranean gem, Abbiocco. His leadership helped Gibson’s Restaurant Group bounce back from its COVID-19 shutdowns, as he returned to Quartino (along with Gibson’s on Rush) in an executive role. With a drive to take things to the next level, Joshua couldn’t be more prepared, nor more thrilled, to take all he has learned and worked hard for to the incredible team behind Scott Harris Hospitality.
